Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the degree of freedom of wiring by a method wherein connectors are provided onto the wiring board so as to be located adjacent to a vent hole, connectors corresponding to the connectors provided to the wiring board are provided to a fan, and both the connectors are fitted in each other to fix the fan on the printed board. SOLUTION: A vent hole 15 has a diameter larger than the outer diameter of a fan 4 provided to a printed board 3. A connector 16 is provided to the printed board 3 so as to be located on each side of the vent hole 15. Other connector is provided on each side of the housing 6 of the fan 5 so as to correspond to the connectors 16. The connectors 16 and the other connectors are fitted as make and female to each other to fix the fan 5 on the printed board 3 and electrically connected together. The front plate 1 of the fan unit is made to pre vent a flow of air from leaking through a device rack front. When the fan 4 is required to be replaced with a new one when it gets out of order, the fan 4 is dismounted from the printed board 3, and then a new fan 4 is mounted.
