Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a cathode-ray tube which can prevent previously drying of graphite slurry in a neck tube part, remove surplus graphite slurry well cleaned in the neck tube part, and solve a problem giving a bad influence to a life of the cathode-ray tube, in the case of manufacturing the cathode-ray tube formed with an interior graphite conductive film by an inflow of the graphite slurry in an internal surface of a funnel. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a cathode-ray tube provided with a coating process forming a graphite conductive film 14 by applying graphite slurry to an internal surface of a funnel 3 by a flow coating method, in a process drying the interior graphite conductive film 4 after an inflow of the graphite slurry, in the case of drying a coating film by an air blow 1 and 8 heater 2, simultaneously with concurrently using an ultrasonic humidifier 10, the graphite slurry in a neck tube part is ultrasonic-humidified.
