HEAT ROLLER FIXING DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC PRINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the collapse of toner, to cope with various kinds of printing paper and to improve fixing speed by providing a heating medium transmitting radiant heat obtained from a bar-like heater from a heat roller metallic part to a heat roller surface layer in an elastic layer. SOLUTION: The heating medium 4 transmitting the radiant heat obtained from the bar-like heater 1 from the heat roller metallic part 2 to the heat roller surface layer is provided in the elastic layer 3. Then, a surface coating layer 5 is provided and the heating medium 4 having fluidity is sealed to come in contact with the metallic part 2 and the coating layer 5 in a groove formed on the elastic layer 3. Thus, the heat obtained by the metallic part 2 efficiently reaches the surface layer without impairing the elasticity of the elastic layer 3. Furthermore, metal having the fluidity is used as the heating medium 4 having the fluidity and the heating medium 4 is sealed by using the surface coating layer made of a metallic foil, so that the temperature distribution on the surface of the heat roller is averaged. Thus, the heat is rapdily recovered on the surface of the heat roller.
