Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hot dip galvanized steel strip in which the conventional thermal spraying method is improved and the size of spangles is regulated to prevent the remaining of the powder of thermal spray metal on the surface of the steel strip and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: This is a method for producing acontinous hot dip galvanized steel strip in which, at the time of producing a galvanized steel strip in such a manner that the inside of a plating layer in a molten state for a steel strip 1 pulled out from a plating bath in a continuous galvanizing line is thermally sprayed with any metal among Pb, Sn, Bi, K, Cd and Sb alone or plurally in combination and the size of spangles on the surface of the steel strip 1 is regulated, the surface of the steel strip 1 is sprayed with a liq. on the stream side in the advancing direction rearer than the position at which the metal was thermal-sprayed.
