Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce synthetic mica having satisfactory crystallinity and capable of pulverization to synthetic mica powder having a high aspect ratio by melting starting material for synthetic mica by an internal combustion type melting method, discharging the resultant melt into a specified vessel and crystallizing it in the vessel. SOLUTION: Starting material for synthetic mica is melted by an internal combustion type melting method and the resultant melt is discharged into a heat insulating vessel and crystallized in the vessel to produce the objective synthetic mica.
