Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact housing for information disk, having a central holding device which can hold a large number of information disks. SOLUTION: A central holding device 12 being arranged on a base plate, for two information disks 14, 16, e.g., compact disks, which respectively have an central opening 18, and are located on the top and bottom, is provided on a housing. In order to house and hold a plurality of information disks by a sure method with reliability, the holding device is constituted of clamping studs 13, 15 which are arranged in circle, are gripped in the central openings 18, and have elasticity in the radial directions. The clamping studs 13, 15 consist of at least two independent groups, and clamping surfaces 13a, 15a which are arranged in different planes to clamp respective information carriers 14, 16, are provided in respective groups of the clamping studs.
