Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which can maintain a developing gap equal to the conventional one and whose cost is reduced. SOLUTION: Instead of the conventional aluminum extrusion doctor blade supporting plate, a supporting plate part 30 is formed by integral molding including the plastic front and rear side plate parts of the device, and plural bearing surface parts 31, 32 and 33 are formed on the supporting plate part 30. Then, a doctor blade 4 is attached to the bearing surface part.
