SEGMENT ERECTOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and safety by surely holding and assembling a plurality of segments having different shapes. SOLUTION: A turning ring 16 is installed at the rear section of a skin plate 11, and a plurality of gripping devices 26a, 26b movable in an existing tunnel through a support cylinder 22 extended at the rear section in the excavation direction and guide rods 23a, 23b are mounted on the turning ring 16. Guide frames 35a, 35b, in which shapes are set in conformity with segments S1, S2 having different shapes, are supported to the gripping devices 26a, 26b in an attitude controllable manner, and vacuum pads 443, 44b capable of sucking and holding the segments S1, S2 are set up to each guide frame 35a, 35b and a vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum pads 44a, 44b.
