Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a such thread holder as to automatically control a holding clearance according to the thickness of yarn. SOLUTION: This thread holder is equipped with two holding members forming a clearance 32 having circular cross section shape and increased width. Each of these holding members is mounted on other holding members by bearing in at least one bearing position 36 designed as a bearing face. This arrangement enables setting of optimum holding position of the holding member mounted on the bearing by an advantageous method. The thread holder is especially suitable for bringer grippers of rapier loom.
