Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce both of the maximum acceleration and HIC(head injury criteria) in shock without particularly losing the rigidity of the whole part of a liner by forming an auxiliary liner having a lower density in an inner dent part of the main liner member of a shock-absorbing liner placed in the inside of an outer shell of a safety helmet. SOLUTION: An inner dent part 31 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the main liner member 32 of a shock absorbing liner 15 for head, and an inner auxiliary liner member 33 having a lower density than the main liner member is placed in the inner dent part 31. The liner 15 can deform the outer shape in an arbitrary direction along the surface of the top of the head of a rider, etc., at the auxiliary liner 33.
