PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress vibration of a steering column unit by guiding a supporting member to the outside of a reinforcing support member and connecting the supporting member to the steering column unit. SOLUTION: A housing element 9 constructed of an angle bar type structural angle is provided with the first leg part 9a arranged on the horizontal plane substantially and another downward leg part 9b. The housing element 9 is formed into a curved plate as a whole, and the curved plate is provided with arms 40, 41 extending away from the angle bar type structural angle. These arms 40, 41 are connected to reinforcing support members 4, 5 individually. The housing element 9 is provided with the angle bar type structural angle within the range of the both reinforcing support members 4, 5, and along the structural angle, the leg part 9a or the leg part 9b shaped as a supporting member 42 is extended toward a steering column unit 11 so as to be fixed and connected to the steering column unit 11.
