Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a thermal printer capable of absorbing the warpage of a board in the case of bringing a thermal head into pressure contact without impairing the heat radiating effect of a heat radiating plate even in the thermal printer of an intermediate transfer type. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of heating elements 3 are aligned and disposed linearly in a lengthwise direction on a flat plate-like insulating board 2, a flat plate-like heat radiating plate 4 formed of metal is stuck to the back surface of the board 2 with adhesive having excellent heat radiation, and a single-thread groove 5 is formed on the plate 4 in the direction perpendicular to the aligning direction of the elements 3 at the center of the plate 1.
