STAGE ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating device to elevate a stage through simple constitution, in an elevating device for a stage arranged at a theater and a hall. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left sprockets 3B and 3A are closely spaced in such a way as to face each other on a lower frame 2. A pair of a right and left chains 4B and 4A are made to vertically run along the sprocket 3B and 3A. A number of blocks 8A and 8B are attached in one row to the chains 4A and 4B. And the blocks 8A and 8B are brought into contact with each other. A stage 1 is coupled to the upper ends of the chains 4A and 4B. The load of the stage 1 is supported by the blocks 8A and 8B. When the sprockets 3A and 3B are rotated through drive of a motor, the chains 4A and 4B are made to vertically run and the stage 1 is raised. By setting a long moving distance in a vertical direction of the chains 4A and 4B, the stage 1 is raised to a high level.
