Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a front rotary seat for an automobile so as to secure safety in traveling of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A front rotary seat is constructed by mounting a driver's seat 1 on a rotary mechanism 11 arranged on a floor and mounting a front passenger seat 2 on a rotary mechanism 21 arranged on the floor via a sliding mechanism 26. The front rotary seat is provided with a front passenger seat rotation controlling means 5, by which rotation of the front passenger seat 2 is controlled if the front passenger seat 2 is positioned in the front position, and a front passenger seat slide controlling means 3, by which a slide of the front passenger seat 2 is controlled if the driver's seat 1 faces the front while the front passenger seat 2 faces the back in the rear position, and a driver's seat rotation controlling means 4, by which rotation of the driver's seat 1 is controlled if the front passenger seat 2 is positioned in the front position while facing the back and the driver's seat 1 faces the back. If the driver's seat 1 faces the front and a vehicle can be operated, the front passenger seat 2 is prevented from facing the back, so that safety during traveling of a vehicle can be secured.
