Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a welding stud to be welded automatically by forming a recess on the base of the welding stud and receiving spatters generated during the welding. SOLUTION: A welding stud 1 is constituted of a planar stud base 2, stud weld part 3 projectingly provided in the center of the stud base 2, and a grooved recess 4 which is provided in the stud base 2 and which circulates in contact with the base end of the stud weld part 3. In performing stud welding using this welding stud 1, spatters generated during stud welding are received by the recess 4, and then the welding completes with the weld zone formed with a proper reinforcement of weld. Additionally, the stud base is desirably formed in a rectangular plane shape. Consequently, a high temperature gas generated in welding is made easier to escape, enhancing cooling effect for a weld zone. |
