Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wear resistance and to obtain an improved cleaning effect over a long time without damaging a magnetic tape. SOLUTION: A tape cleaner 1 is formed of alumina ceramic with an average crystal particle diameter of 0.5-1.6μm, a Vickers hardness of at least 1,700kgf/ mm , and a transverse-test strength of at least 50kgf/mm or Al2 O3 -TiC ceramic which is mainly composed of alumina and titanium carbide, and where the content of the above alumina ranges from 50 to 80wt.% and the content of titanium carbide ranges from 20 to 50wt.%. Also, a substrate with a tool nose part 3 is formed, as another tape cleaner 1, of ceramic, cermet material, and hard metal and an amorphous hard carbon film with a film thickness of 0.01 to 0.7μm is applied on at least the above tool tip. |
