Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry on a process even when it can not be demarcated which processing unit is abnormal by conventional technology. SOLUTION: Memory controllers 330A and 330B monitor the consistency of data among processing units in their systems 310 (31-A-1 and 310A-2, and 310B-1 and 310B-2). Further, an address detecting circuit 350A monitors addresses outputted by the processing units 310 to judge whether or not the processing units 310 are in exceptional process states. In case of data inconsistency, interface controllers 340 (340A and 340B) disconnect the system. Even when an exceptional process state is entered although the data are consistent, the system is also disconnected. The disconnection, however, is made after collating circuits 360A and 350B confirm the state of the other system. A system which takes over the process is made to perform a self-diagnosing process.
