Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate capable of forming a display thin in thickness, light in weight and excellent in display quality, and to provide a film liquid crystal display and a field emission display using the substrate. SOLUTION: This thin film display substrate 1 is produced by forming an insulating layer 3 on the surface of metal thin plate 2. Thus, even when the substrate is kept at high temperature, an active element, an electron discharging electrode, a drawing electrode or the like sufficient in performance or quality can be formed and crack prevention, folding and lightening are enabled. Besides, this film liquid crystal display is produced by laminating active matrix layer, liquid crystal layer and transparent conductive film on the insulated layer 3 of this thin display substrate 1, and this field emission display is produced by laminating an electron discharging substrate and a light emitting substrate on which fluorescent layers are arranged on the insulated layer of this thin display substrate while facing these substrates each other and electrically connecting them. |
