SEPARATION DETECTING METHOD FOR ARMORING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the separation detecting method of armoring material, which can detect the separation of armoring material in the early period without the effect of the skill of a measuring person and can readily grasp the degree and distribution of the separation even in the investigation in the broad range, in the method for detecting the separation of the armoring material applied on a structure. SOLUTION: The separation detecting method for armoring material is the method for detecting the separation of the armoring material 2 comprising mortar 3 (substrate material) and tiles 4 (finishing material) applied on a concrete body 1. Coating material, which is discolored in association with temperature is applied on the surface of the tile 4. Then, the separation of the armoring material 2 (mortar 3 or tiles 4) is detected from the discoloring of the above described coloring material caused by the heat insulating effect in gaps S1 and S2 formed at the rear surface by the separation of the armoring material 2.
