Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated GPS/inertial navigation system utilizing satellite signals being received by two antennas spaced apart from each other in order to enhance the estimation of head orientation. SOLUTION: The GPS/inertial navigation system comprises a receiver 5 and an inertial navigation system 7. The receiver 5 measures the carrier phase of one or more component signals of one or more satellite signals received by two antennas 1, 3 continuously during a duration Tp. Only the component signal of one satellite signal received by one antenna is measured at a time Tp. The receiver 5 estimates the phase of component signal at the end of time Tk utilizing the Tp phase of each component signal being obtained at time Tk. The inertial navigation system 7 utilizes the Tk phase when the displacement of two antennas 1, 3 is determined using the head orientation of a mobile and the inertial sensor of inertial navigation system 7. |
