Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steps-like conveyor which can carry continuously adjacent articles so that an article placed on the boundary line in which footboards are adjacent to each other does not fall down. SOLUTION: Recessed and projecting parts 4, 4..., 5, 5... which are tangled with each other are provided in the boundary lines of the adjacent footboards 3, 3... of a steps-like conveyor 2, thereby being able to carry continuously adjacent articles so that an article placed on the boundary line in which the footboards 3, 3... are adjacent to each other does not fall down. Also, the velocity V+ΔV of the inclined part of the steps-like conveyor is made faster than the velocity V of a horizontally driving part. Furthermore, the upper surface of each tip of the recessed and projecting parts is lowered by a step difference δ.
