Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the inconvenience that the life of a print head varies because of a change of supplied energy due to a head temperature when a temperature dependency of an ink viscosity is taken into consideration and a pulse width of a driving signal is changed depending on the heat temperature thereby to control the discharge amount of ink in an ink-jet image formation method. SOLUTION: When a driving signal includes a main pulse directly related to the discharge of ink and a pre pulse preceding the main pulse via a pause, a rise point (T0) of the pre pulse and a fall point (T3) of the main pulse are all fixed. A fall point (T1) of the pre pulse and a rise point (T2) of the main pulse are made variable in accordance with temperatures. Moreover, a sum of a pre heat pulse width (T1-T0) and a main heat pulse width (T3-T2) is almost constant to any temperature information. Such a table is used in the image formation apparatus and method. |
