EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT PROTECTIVE FRAME FOR BED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a sleeper from a disaster such as an earthquake while sleeping in bed, and prevent an entrance of a scattering material such as glass by arranging support members around a bed or a Japanese-style bed, installing a high strength structural body containing a canopy on its support members, and surrounding an upper space of the bed or the Japanese-style bed by its structural body. SOLUTION: Support members 4 composed of columns 6 or the like are arranged around a bed 2 or a Japanese-style bed, and lower parts of its support members 4 are joined to each other through the other structural member 10, and thus a bed surrounding frame 8 is formed, and a bed bottom surface part 9 is installed. A canopy 5 is installed on the columns 6 erected on its bed bottom surface part 9, and is constituted so as to surround an upper space S of the bed 2. Therefore, a sleeper can be protected from weight of overturned furniture and a collapsed house by a disaster such as an earhtquake and a typhoon, and an entrance of a scattering material such as a broken piece of glass and dust and dirt can be effectively prevented.
