Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite detector and a detective system using the same, with no need of any know-how or expertise, capable of finding termite damage in an early stage by their installation along the periphery of a building, thus capable of preventing building damage or its magnification. SOLUTION: This termite detector is made up of a cylindrical outer case 2 having a hole for termite intrusion, wood 3 as termite feed held in the outer case 2, a lid 5 placed above the wood 3 and the outer case 2, a coil spring 6 with the base end of its contractile direction fixed inside the lid 5, and a stylus 7 fixed on the tip of the coil spring 6 and energized so as to press on the wood 3. For the wood 3, a piece of wood cut perpendicularly to the tree annual ring plane is used, and the tip of the stylus 7 is brought into contact with a portion of a soft early wood between annual rings adjacent to each other.
