Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple indoor test method for retrieving a substance having seaweed adhesion and germination retarding activity by coating the bottom of an incubation case with an inspection substance dissolved into a solution and then adding an incubation liquid containing spores of a plant in laver group thereto after drying. SOLUTION: The bottom of an incubation case is coated with an inspection substance dissolved into a solution and then it is dried before being added with spores of an adhesive seaweed, fertilized eggs, etc., together with an incubation liquid. The spores and fertilized eggs are then fertilized under optimal conditions and the extent of adhesion to the bottom of incubation case, germination, etc., of the spores of adhesive seaweed, fertilized eggs, etc., is measured thus determining the adhesion and germination retarding activity of a substance to be inspected to the spores of seaweed, fertilized eggs, etc. The inspection substance and the solution for dissolving the inspection substance may be an organic compound or an inorganic compound. A Schale, an incubation plate, etc., is employed as the incubation case and applicable plant includes plants of laver group and plants of Fucales.
