PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a frame body by wiping oil out with detergent and prevent the discoloring of it by integrating a heat exchanger and a blower inside the frame body that are provided with an air inlet hole and an air outlet hole and forming the outer panel of the frame body with stainless steel. SOLUTION: In the body 1 of a hanging from ceiling type air conditioner, a front outer panel 2, both side surfaces of right and left outer panels 3 and 4, and the outer panel of a lower surface are formed with stainless, and the outer panel 6 of an upper surface and the outer panel 7 of a back surface are formed with sheet steel without painting. An air blow out hole 9 that is attached with stainless wind guide vanes 8 detachably is arranged to the front outer panel 2 and an air inlet hole 12 that is attached with a stainless air inlet grill 11 detachably with an air filter is arranged to the under outer panel. Therefore, when oil adheres to the outer panels 6 and 7, it can be wiped out with a detergent and the shiny clean surface can be restored. The bars of the inlet grill 11 can be detached to wipe the oil out easily.
