BUILT-UP SCAFFOLDING FOR SHIELD MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a working scaffolding which comes close to and fits to a cylinder-shaped shield frame by providing a bracket on each segment piece and removably mounting a set-up work bench on each bracket. SOLUTION: A piece 1 is formed in a semi-circle shape where an engagement piece 38 is mounted on right and left ends and then engaged with a hook 10 of a crane, thereby hanging the piece in a shaft 7. Then, a worker steps into the working bench 19 which is preliminarily mounted on the piece 1 and aboard a launching bench and executes engagement and removal work between the engagement piece 38 and the hook 10. Then, after a slinging work of the upper sided piece 2, it is brought into a shaft 7. A work bench 19a on a lower stage is welded with the piece 1. A work bench 19c on a lower stage is mounted in the intermediate part, thereby securing a work scaffolding which comes close to and fits with the frame. After every build-up work is ended, the work bench 19 is removed from the bracket. This construction makes it possible to erect and remove the work bench with ease and standardize the components of the work bench.
