HIGH STRENGTH DRY PRESERVED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dry preserved body excellent in bending strength by curing and hardening a prescribed hydraulic compsn., drying the resultant hardened body and preserving the dried body under specified conditions. SOLUTION: A hydraulic compsn. contg. water granulated blast furnace slag, silica fume, a water-soluble polymer such as sodium polyacrylate, a hardening stimulant such as NaOH and water is cured and hardened, the resultant hardened body is dried and this dried body having lower bending strength than the hardened body immediately after curing is preserved in a state not practically accompanied by a change of its weight, e.g. at room temp. for two weeks after hermetical sealing in a PE bag. It is preferable that drying is continued until the bending strength of the dried body becomes equal to that of the hardened body immediately after curing and then the dried body is preserved.
