SOLUTION: This catalyst has single mode or multi-mode void dimension distribution wherein a BET specific surface area is 0.01-250m /g and an average void diameter measured on the basis of a mercury pressure porosity measuring method is 50-300,000nm. At this time, 10-95% of void vol. is 0.1-3 times the average void diameter and/or 10-80% of the void vol. is 0.4-3 times the average void diameter and/or 50-95% of the void vol. is 0.1-1 times the average void diameter and/or 50-80% of the void vol. is 0.4-1 times the average void diameter.
