Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the star type communication equipment in which the processing of each slave equipment is efficiently conducted without congestion of the processing of each slave equipment by converting a signal sent/received among plural slave sets into a signal with a synchronization rate in the equipment and applying time division multiplexing to the signal. SOLUTION: A star type communication equipment (master equipment) 1 converts a signal from a slave equipment 2 into a signal with a synchronization rate used in the master set by a reception rate conversion section 3 and uses a time division multiplex section 5 to apply time division multiplex processing to the signal via a reception serial/parallel conversion section 4. On the other hand, a time division demultiplex section 5' applies time division demultiplex processing to a signal to be sent to the slave set 2 and a parallel/serial conversion section 4' applies the signal into a serial signal and the speed of the signal is converted into a rate for each slave set 2 by a transmission rate conversion section 3'. Thus, the master set 1, that is, the start type communication equipment is obtained in which the processing of each slave set 2 is conducted efficiently without congesting the processing.
