NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the defectrate of batteries by restraining the battery voltage drop caused by a light short circuit after assembling. SOLUTION: A lithium battery is formed of a cylindrical metal exterior facing can, an electrode roll body formed of a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate which are laminated with a separator and spirally wound, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The electrode roll body is fixed by a fixing tape 11. The fixing tap 11 is formed of a PET cloth tape and an adhesive arranged on the surface 100 thereof, and areas 102 having the adhesive arranged therein are distributed like is lands. Thus, the nonaqueous electrolyte permeates into the area 103 having no adhesive arranged therein in a short time, and the fixing tape 11 is peeled from the electrode roll body to loosen the electrode roll body.
