Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform infrared spectroscopic analysis of oil in a liquid to be measured accurately by extracting the residual measuring liquid after separation of water and soap into an organic solvent having no alkyl group thereby removing the residual moisture. SOLUTION: After throwing 4 a specified quantity of adsorbent, e.g. sodium chloride, from an adsorbent hopper 10 into an extraction container 2 through a solenoid valve 13, a specified quantity of liquid to be measured, e.g. cold rolling oil, is injected 3 directly from a tank and piping in factory or from a sampling container into the container 2 through a pump 15 and a solenoid valve 11. Consequently, water and soap in the liquid to be measured is adsorbed immediately by the adsorbent and removed. An organic solvent (e.g. carbon tetraoxide) having no alkyl group is then thrown 5 from an organic solvent tank 9 into the container 2 through a solenoid valve 12 and stirred by means of a stirring propeller 1 thus extracting the oil in the liquid to be measured into the organic solvent. Subsequently, the solvent is passed through a water repellent permeation membrane 7 by means of a pump 16 and dehydrated before being analyzed by means of an infrared spectroscopic analyzer 8.
