CARRYING DEVICE FOR ESCALATOR STEP FOR WHEELCHAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the carrying of steps and the temporary storage of the steps at the time of work for disconnecting the steps by providing a roller, which can be freely turned, under a load carrying platform part at a nearly same cross dimension with that of the steps. SOLUTION: Cross dimension of a load carrying platform part 4 is formed nearly equal to that of a step 10, and a pair of rear side receiver parts 1 and a pair of front side receiver parts 2 to be loaded with a horizontal holding member 8 for support are projected from the load carrying platform part 4 toward the side thereof. A roller 5 is projected downward from the load carrying platform part 4 at four positions in the fore and aft direction. A rear wheel 12 of the step 10 is placed on the rear side receiver part 1, and a front part of the step 10 is placed on the front side receiver part 2 through the horizontal holding member 8. The step 10 is placed on the load carrying platform part 4 in the posture that a cleat surface 11 is directed upward, and a belt member 9 is wrapped for constraint. This carrying device thereby functions as a carrier at the nearly same cross dimension with that of the step 10.
