Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track and road work vehicle with an automatic brake device braking an iron wheel when the iron wheel is at least projected or stored. SOLUTION: When an iron wheel 16 is projected on a rail, i.e., an axle holding arm 12 is rocked CW, a limit switch 42 is released, and both limit switches 41, 42 are 'opened'. A circuit constituted of the earth G, a battery 47, and a circuit relay CR is 'opened', the circuit relay CR is demagnetized, and the switch portion 48 of the circuit relay CR is 'closed'. An electric motor M is started, a hydraulic fluid is fed to a hydraulic cylinder 46, and an iron wheel brake 43 is operated.
