CROSS-FEED EQUIPMENT OF ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed a rolled stock in one direction or in other direction by providing a feeding claw in an attachable/detachable manner to/from a frame rail so as to reverse the feeding direction of the rolled stock. SOLUTION: When a rolled stock W is fed to a rolling mill in a cross-feed equipment of the rolled stock W, a feeding claw 21 is fitted by locking a locking groove 25 to a fitting shaft. When the feeding claw 21 is moved with the opposite side to a feed side 23 toward the rolling stock W, the feeding claw is collided with the rolling stock W and inclined to allow the rolling stock W to ride over. When the rolling stock W rides over, the feeding claw 21 is returned to the upward posture by a weight 26. When the feeding claw is moved in the opposite direction, the feed side 23 is hooked by the rolling stock W to realize the feeding. The turning regulating face 27 of the feeding claw 21 is abutted on a turning regulating plate 28, and the feeding posture is kept without further inclination. The feeding claw 21 cross-feeds the rolling stock W. When the rolling stock W is fed in the opposite direction, the feeding claw 21 is once removed from the fitting shaft, the direction is reversed, and the feeding claw is re-fitted to the fitting shaft.
