Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To almost uniformly sprinkle anyone of treating liquids having a wide variety of viscosities ranging from high to low values without causing excess supply or atomization of the treating liquid by blowing air into the treating liquid that falls in a natural flow stream through a nozzle hole, from obliquely above the both sides of the treating liquid and sprinkling the treating liquid on an object to be treated while diffusing the treating liquid toward the object to be treated. SOLUTION: In this method, cooked rice for SUSHI (a Japanese dish consisting of raw fish strips and cold cooked rice cakes) is prepared by sprinkling a treating liquid 2 that is a mixture of vinegar used as its major component and some other seasonings, from a treating liquid sprinkle nozzle 11 on boiled rice 4 just after boiling it while conveying the boiled rice 4 by a conveyer 25. At this time, the treating liquid 2 is sprinkled on the boiled rice 4 by using air 3 blown into the treating liquid 2 that falls through a nozzle hole 11a under a low pressure sufficient to form a nearly natural flow stream of the treating liquid 2, from obliquely above the both sides of the treating liquid 2, while diffusing the treating liquid 2 toward the boiled rice 4 to perform the treatment of the boiled rice 4 with the treating liquid 2. This sprinkler is provided with the treating liquid spray nozzle 11 having an air passage 13 for blowing air from obliquely above the both sides of the nozzle hole 11a into a treating liquid outflow passage 12 for allowing the treating liquid 2 to fall through the nozzle hole 11a, wherein the treating liquid 2 is supplied from a treating liquid supply means 14 to the treating liquid outflow passage 12 and the air 3 is supplied from an air supply means 15 to the air passage 13.
