Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly and speedily instruct any position on a screen with a little manipulated variable by a user in a system for providing video information, etc., requested by the user onto a screen. SOLUTION: Corresponding to the video information provided on a screen 2, the desired position is irradiated with infrared rays from a remote controller 1 by the user. This irradiated position is measured by a photosensor part 5 and a coordinate value transforming part 7 and corresponding to the request from a communication control part 7, a cursor is displayed at the relevant coordinate on the screen 2. When the user moves the irradiated position by operating the remote controller 1 since the position of relevant cursor is not the desired position, the moved irradiated position is similarly measured and the communication control part 7 calculates the moving distance of irradiated position. When that distance is less than a threshold, the cursor is not moved but when that distance is more than the threshold, the cursor is displayed at the position on the screen 2 corresponding to the move of irradiated position. When the user requests any processing while designating the relevant position, the communication control part 7 performs correspondent processing. |
