Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To fix and determine a gas dissolved in liquid and to measure and monitor the change with the lapse of time by a constitution which comprises a vapor-liquid separator for separating the dissolved gas, a vacuum piping system, an introducing piping system leading to an analyzer, and the like. CONSTITUTION: Mass spectrometry is performed while the inside of a vacuum piping system 40 is evacuated to a pressure of 10 Pa or lower using an evacuating device 30 with the switching valve 52 of a pressure regulator 50 closed and with a switching valve 56 and a variable regulating valve 54 both open. The dissolved gas in a sample liquid 10 is therefore continuously introduced into a piping system 40 via a vapor-liquid separator 20. When the valve 52 is opened, the liquid-dissolved gas taken out is introduced into a Fourier- transform ion-cyclotron-resonance mass spectrometer FT-ICR 12. Thus the dissolved gas components in the liquid 10 are directly and continuously introduced into the mass spectrometer operating under a high vacuum, and can be individually identified and determined, i.e., the liquid-dissolved gas can be identified and determined, or the changes with the lapse of time can be measured and monitored easily. Moreover, the use of the ICR as an analyzer results in high mass resolving power.
