SOLUTION: This stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride is obtd. by compounding 1 pt.wt. zinc soap (A), 0.1-3 pts.wt. component (B) comprising a trimethylolalkane and/or a dimethylolalkanoic acid, and pentaerythritol (C) in an amt. of 0.1-0.3 pt.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. component B. A polyvinyl chloride compsn. is obtd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl chloride with 0.1-5 pts.wt. above-obtd. stabilizer.
