Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial method for efficiently separating and recovering quinoline by a simple absorption method from a quinoline-containing oil of coal tar fraction, etc. SOLUTION: Quinoline is subjected to absorptive separation using a faujasite type zeolite as an absorbent from a quinoline-containing oil. A Y type faujasite type zeolite is preferably used as the absorbent. Quinoline can extremely efficiently be separated and recovered by a simple absorption method from quinoline-containing oil of coal tar, etc.
