Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly share the load to be applied to a longitudinal spoke and a horizontal spoke against the impact rearward in the diagonal direction in a steering wheel. SOLUTION: A steering rim 3 is connected to a shaft part 2 at a center part by horizontal spokes 4, 5 in the right-to-left direction and a longitudinal spoke in the rear direction. The longitudinal spoke 8 is formed of a flat member, and a slit 9 along the longitudinal direction of an automobile is formed at the center thereof. The rigidity of the horizontal spokes 4, 5 and the rigidity of each split longitudinal spoke 8 are unified, and the load on the spoke against the impact is uniformly shared thereby. For example, the impact can be uniformly absorbed if the impact in the right-rearward diagonal direction is received by a right longitudinal spoke 8a of the longitudinal spoke 8 in the rear direction and a horizontal spoke 4 in the right direction.
