Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a shelf supporting device of a refrigerator in which a deformation around an engaging hole for use in engaging with a shelf receiving element can be prevented or restricted while its structure is being simplified. CONSTITUTION: A storing chamber 4 is constructed within a thermal insulating box 3 in which thermal insulating material 10 is foamed and filled between an outer box 2 and an inner box 5. Item installing shelves 33 are mounted within the storing chamber 4. The inner box 5 is comprised of a projection 30 extended in a vertical direction and folded to be formed and a plurality of punched engaging holes 31 positioned within the projection 30 with a vertical predetermined space being left. Shelf receiving members 32 for supporting edges of the shelves 33 are engaged with these engaging holes 31.
