Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance-measuring method in which a distance up to a pin can be measured and displayed without using a fixed power supply by a method wherein three parallax points which are installed at a home position are projected on an image formation face by detecting the coordinates of an image formation position in an arbitrary place and the distance between the parallax points and optical apparatus is computed. SOLUTION: A three-parallax-object-point device 4 is constituted of a support 5 which is erected vertically, of a triangular plate 6 which is bonded to the top face of the support 5 and of three parallax columns 7, 8, 9 which rise respectively from three vertex parts of the triangular plate 6. The triangular plate 6 is placed on a horizontal plane, and the parallax columns 7, 8, 9 are painted in white so as to easily reflect light. The parallax columns 7, 8, 9 are set to be the same length and the same height position. A pin 3 and the parallax column 8 are positioned on a vertical face containing a right-angled bisector in the horizontal direction of the two parallax columns 7, 9. Then, three parallax points which are set in a home position are projected on the image formation face of an optical apparatus by detecting the coordinates of an image formation position in an arbitrary place, and the distance between the parallax points and the optical apparatus is computed and displayed on the basis of the distance between the three parallax points.
