AUTOMATED CONTROL LOCKER DEVICE FOR BAGGAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the safety for a person of advanced age when he receives a delivered baggage by a method wherein residence number inputted from an operation unit is compared with residence number of a resident utilizing height limit, and when the two are different, one empty locker is selected from baggage storage data. SOLUTION: Data of residence numbers, in which height is limited, and data of contents of height limit are stored beforehand into a storage device. Next, when a residence number is inputted to store a delivered baggage, the inputted residence number is compared with a height limited residence number and if the two are different, one of locker boxes 2, 3, 6-9 is selected. On the other hand, when the two are equal, it is determined that empty lockers other than a height limited locker cannot virtually be selected and one of empty boxes 2, 3, 6-9 is selected within a height limit. Thus a baggage to a resident of height limited residence can be stored in a locker whose height is set beforehand so that the baggage can be easily taken out and safety can be ensured.
