METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTING AND CONSTRUCTING BLAST FURNACE IN SHORT TIME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the development of warp and strain of a brick laying part by mutually joining annular blocks and a furnace bottom block with an upper part block. SOLUTION: At the time of constructing a blast furnace, firstly, the furnace body is divided into several number of the annular blocks from the furnace top part to the bottom part and the annular blocks are constructed at a place other than the foundation. A preventing means for preventing the warp and the strain of the brick laying part and a stave for securing circularity of the brick laying part are provided to the blocks except the lowermost furnace bottom block. The furnace bottom block is laid with the bricks on the furnace bottom plate arranged at the lower end part. After transporting the annular block except the furnace block on the foundation of the blast furnace by side- shifting, these blocks are lifted up and mutually joined. The furnace bottom block is joined with the upper part block after transporting and setting the foundation level to/on the foundation by the side-shifting. By this method, the simplifying of the reconstructing or constructing work and the reduction of the reconstructing or the constructing cost can be achieved.
