Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a yellow color compound having light fastness, heat resistance, etc., higher than those of a conventional one by synthesizing a new quiniphthalone color compd. having an intermolecular salt structure. SOLUTION: This quinophthalone color compd. having an intermolecular salt structure and repersented by formula IV (wherein Y is an org. or inorg. acid) is obtd. by converting carboxyl groups of a quinophthalone compd. repersented by formula I (wherein X is H or Br) into acid chloride groups with a chorinating agent in an inert solvent by a known method, thermally reacting the resultant product at 100-180 deg.C in the presence of 4-amino-2,2,6,6- tetramethylpiperidine and a deoxidizing agent in an inert solvent, and reacting the resultant compd. represented by formula III with an org. or inorg. acid in an org. solvent or water to form a salt. |
