Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable thrown-in empty cans to be compressed and stored in their state of classified separation into steel cans and aluminum cans by providing a can thrown-in port, an empty can compressing mechanism for compressing the thrown-in empty cans, a selecting mechanism for selecting and separating compressed and deformed cans into aluminum cans and steel cans and a storing part for receiving selected respective compressed cans individually, so that the thrown-in empty cans can be compressed and stored in their selected and separated state. SOLUTION: When empty cans are thrown in from a can throwing-in port 2, an optical sensor detects this situation and a motor 15 for driving the drums 8, 9 of an empty can compressing mechanism 3 and the endless belt 11 of a selecting mechanism 4 is started. The empty cans are compressed and deformed by the empty can compressing mechanism 3 and dropped on the endless belt 11, having magnetism of the selecting mechanism 4. When the dropped cans are aluminum cans, they slide on the left side slant surface of the belt 11 and drop in an aluminum storing part 5 and when they are steel cans, they are adsorbed on the belt 11, shifted to the right side slant surface, separated on the top end of a bulkhead 16 between left and right side storing parts and dropped in an steel can storing part 6. When operation is carried out for a period of time necessary for empty can compression and selective separation, the motor 15 automatically stops by means of a timer. |
