RADIO REPEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make up the repeater with a small size at a low cost by which a sufficient gain is obtained without the need for an amplifier to which a tight electric characteristic is required. SOLUTION: The repeater is provided with an antenna 1 for a base station, a relay amplifier section 2 amplifying a signal of a specific channel, an antenna 3 for a terminal equipment, a relay amplifier section 4 amplifying a signal of the specific radio channel, a connection section 5 including a wired cable interconnecting the relay amplifier sections 2, 4 at an intermediate frequency band, and a repeater 6. In this repeater, the radio channel whose signal is to be amplified is set in advance and the design condition of the electric characteristic of the sophisticated amplifier is not required and the separation of a reception section from a transmission section based on an intermediate frequency is attained.
