Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of an electromagnetic relay and try to reduce material cost of a permanent magnet. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic block 3 is provided with a nearly E-shaped iron core 6 wound with a coil 5 and is provided with a permanent magnet 8 arranged so as to come into contact with an iron core protrusion part 7 at the center thereof. A movable armature block 2 in which a pair of the movable contact point spring and a movable armature 46 are integrally supported on an insulator 45 due to energizing and deenergizing of this electromagnetic block 3 rotationally moves like a seesaw at a proximity part 10 with the permanent magnet 8, assuming that an arc-shaped protrusion part 44 is a supporting point, and switching between said movable contact point spring and a fixed contact point provided in a base block is performed.
