APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COUNTING OF NUMBER OF ARTICLES PASSED ALONG ROUTE OF ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count an accurate number of articles passing through an article path. SOLUTION: A light beam is sent to a sensor across an article path and then disturbed by the articles passing through the path. The received light beam is converted into an electric signal and inputted to a logical unit after the control and amplification. The number of passing articles is decided based on the amplification factor, the duration and the area of the electric signal. Then a system is added to count the accurate numbers of articles passing through plural article paths together with a device 13, etc., which accurately count the articles passing through every path. In such a constitution, the counted numbers of articles are sent to a master console 1 and totalized there by the instruction of the console 1. The system also includes a simplified wire harness and a reinforced operation network.
